Step into the spacious living room, where a comfy sectional sofa and a large SmartTV create the perfect space to relax and unwind after a day of exploration. The gourmet kitchen, outfitted with modern appliances, a large island, and sleek quartz countertops, is perfect for preparing meals and gathering with loved ones. Adjacent to the high-end kitchen, the formal dining area comfortably seats 10+ guests. The screened porch also features an outdoor dining table seating 10 for alfresco meals during peaceful Cayman evenings. The home's five bedrooms provide plenty of space and privacy, with 4-bedroom suites in the main villa and an apartment suite above the detached garage. Caribe Sun is within short walking distance of The Kaibo and the Rum Point Club, where you can enjoy watersport rentals plus food + drinks in a laid-back beachfront setting. Ferry service from the Kaibo Marina to Camana Bay/Seven Mile Beach makes it easy to experience first-class shopping, dining, and entertainment without sitting in traffic. For those seeking other fun adventures, explore nearby attractions like the Cayman Crystal Caves or the Queen Elizabeth II Royal Botanic Park. To discover more of the island's natural beauty, book an EcoBike tour of the North Side, or a kayak tour of the Bioluminescent Bay. A scenic 15-minute drive will bring you to the North Side and then the East End, where you’ll find local grocery stores, dive shops, and restaurants. This villa was also built for the unforeseen, with hurricane windows/doors (quiet), and a backup generator, providing power during any (rare) local power outages. Beach Notes The entire island is only 22 miles wide from west to east, so you are never too far from anywhere on Grand Cayman. The cove-front homes in Cayman Kai offer calm serene water for docking a rental boat, private charter pick-up if the villa has a dock, or just safe shallow water swimming close to the shoreline for little children. Adults won’t swim in the cove—Rum Point Beach is too nice by comparison—the water is shallow and has a softer bottom and there is no reef here for fish life...but we do see the occasional turtle, eagle ray, or tarpon swim by in the shallows! Another benefit is that we rarely get any seaweed in the cove so the beaches stay cleaner than the oceanfront beaches. The big draw to this area is the proximity to the Rum Point Club, a public beach club within a short walk that offers a fantastic barefoot beach, water sports, a restaurant and bar, a gift shop, and pick-up beach volleyball games. Also nearby is the Kaibo, a beachfront restaurant, bar, coffee shop, and marina. Lastly, about 20 minutes east there are 2 large resorts--Morritt's and The Reef--that offer manicured beaches, plus restaurants, a grocery store, as well as wine & spirits store. These two resorts also offer scuba and snorkel trips, jet ski rentals, windsurfing, kiteboarding, oceanfront pools, and bar service. General Grand Cayman Beach Notes All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high water mark. The shoreline quality behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The across the street beach is also available for your use. Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. This location is VERY rarely affected.
