Casa Taman

Property Description
"Casa" stands for “home” in Spanish and "Taman" for “garden” in Indonesian, and that jungle tropical feeling is exactly what you will experience while being a short walk away from the beach and the blue ocean. Casa Taman’s design is modern, classy, and hippie chic, making you feel at home away from home. This 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom villa comfortably accommodates one large family, two smaller families with children, or a group of friends in a unique and private location. Casa Taman is part of North Creek Estate, sharing the property with Casa Lanui (7 bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms). Both houses can be rented separately or together for large groups, accommodating up to 28 guests combined. Casa Taman features three primary bedrooms with king-size beds overlooking the pool and garden, and one kids’ bedroom with two bunk beds, accommodating 4 in total. The large living area can be opened towards the swimming pool. This inside living area includes a fully equipped kitchen with seating on the island. The dining area consists of a 10-foot-long wooden table that comfortably seats 10 people. Guests can relax in the big, comfortable living room area in front of a 60” television or simply look out towards the pool and beautiful jungle. On the terrace, you can enjoy a swimming pool with shallow hang-out areas surrounded by several lounge chairs for your tanning and enjoying cocktails. Beyond that, there is a large garden to play in and hang out with hammocks to relax in the shade. The beach is a short 100-meter walk through a private path and you will find a beautiful beach with pristine sand that stretches endlessly. You can relax in full privacy in the shade of numerous trees while watching some fantastic, consistent surf or one of the world’s most beautiful sunsets.

Location Information
• 2-minute walk to grocery store • 2-minute walk to several restaurants and shops • Short drive or bike ride to a big selection of restaurants and shops • 10-minute walk to fitness center • 10-minute drive to clinic & town Mal Pais • 40-minute drive to golf course Santa Teresa, a string of beaches on the southern tip of Costa Rica’s northwestern peninsula, has an edge-of-the-world vibe that still feels remote and inspires dreams of relocation. Driving down the dusty dirt road that connects the area’s four beaches — Playa Carmen, Playa Hermosa, Santa Teresa and Mal Pais —you will wonder what your life would be like in a town that experiences almost year-round sunshine (punctuated by the occasional biblical rainstorm, sure) and consistent 80-degree temperatures. This road that runs parallel to the beach has many cute cafés, restaurants, some galleries and the odd fashion boutique dotted among the surf shops. Once a sleepy fishing village, Santa Teresa is now an increasingly luxurious surfer’s paradise filled with people who have made this particular fantasy their reality — and the occasional detox-seeking celebrity who likes living it for a week at a time. In addition to native Costa Ricans, or “Ticos,” there are American chefs, Australian surf instructors, French cafe owners and Argentine hoteliers. An outer ripple of Costa Rica’s countrywide eco-tourism boom, Santa Teresa’s international community blossomed in the 2000s as foreign adventure-seekers discovered its confluence of natural attractions: white-sand beaches, reliable, long-breaking waves and innumerable species of wildlife. And while New Age hippies still populate the town’s scores of yoga studios, Santa Teresa is now evolving to cater to the growing number of comfort-loving families who have discovered its amazing beaches and lay back charms, including its proximity to the pristine 3,000-acre Cabo Blanco nature reserve, five miles to the south, and an increasing array of excellent small hotels, villas and restaurants.
