Property Description

Serenity is one of the most beloved and often revisited villas on Jamaica's beautiful north coast. Its prize location is a waterfront acre 8 miles west of Montego Bay. Grounds include a shared tennis court, basketball hoop, and a heated pool. In Caribbean style architecture, spaces are defined by airy octagonal gazebos and high cedar ceilings. Pretty blue and white fabrics and cool marble floors are throughout. Each bedroom opens to a sitting area for private afternoon naps or all day gazing at the changing light on the Caribbean Sea practically at your doorstep. Eye-opener coffee trays are silently presented outside each bedroom door while guests are still asleep. Morning walks down the long beach are energizing. Sunset beach walks are beautiful. Four bedrooms and the living room are connected by a long furnished marble veranda. The veranda adjoins the pool terrace, where cool drinks and evening hors d'oeuvres are served under the palm trees. Most weeks, a special treat is dinner on the beach. On calm evenings, you may see our local fishermen laying their nets by torchlight. If the night produces a good catch, they’ll return early in the morning with fresh fish or lobster to sell to Maud, the Serenity cook, for tonight’s dinner. 100 yards offshore is Holden's Reef, a continuation of the barrier reef complex that fronts much of Jamaica's north coast. Easily reachable by kayak, this live reef is home to a myriad of tropical fish and corals. At low tide, portions protrude above the water so you can step from your kayak to snorkel in shallow water. On the ocean side, deeper waters beckon the more adventurous or scuba-equipped. Serenity shares a basketball hoop and private tennis court with neighboring Tranquillity (racquets and balls provided). Combining Serenity and Tranquillity creates an 11-bedroom compound with two pools, a tennis court, a long beachfront, and a staff of 10. Beyond Tranquility is our glamorous neighbor, Noble House on the Beach, which accommodates eight or 10 more guests. Combining these three homes creates a 15-bedroom compound with three pools, a tennis court, a long beachfront, and a staff of 18. This remarkable waterfront trio is a favorite for weddings and family reunions. All three villas are child-friendly and very private from each other. If you’ve left your pets behind while you take a vacation, be advised that Serenity is home to our beloved pups: They love romps on the beach with guests, adore children, and socks! But can be kept away should you not wish them to be in your space.

Just Pack Your Bags And Book A Flight...All Else Is Handled! :)

My wife and I had limited experience travelling abroad without the assistance of family in terms of planning/booking/arrangements. Following our selection of the villa we'd be travelling to in Jamaica, the Rental Escape team managed almost every detail for us. Per my title, all we really had to do was manage our flights, pack our bags, and pay attention to the details/plans/instructions provided. I traveled to Jamaica as a child/young adult and remember the most stressful part of the trip was getting into/out of the airport. That process was managed and made so seamless by the Rental Escape team that I now feel getting into/out of Jamaica is much easier and less stressful than our U.S. airports. Travel to and from both the airport/resort we stayed at week before and villa was provided by this team and did NOT disappoint. The Staff at our villa (Serenity on the Beach) made us feel like family and were very in tune to our needs and took amazing care of us. Thank you Rental Escapes team - we're already planning our next vacation with you!! :)

Excellent Customer Service!

From the time we started with the booking agent, Elly, til we started working with the Concierge agent, Marina, the experience was excellent! Our group of 8 adults are business owners, top leaders of businesses, well educated and it is very important when we book with someone to have outstanding communication each way. This property, Serenity on the beach, was everything we expected plus more! Their price was a little better then the competition too plus the friendliness, patience and timely response to inquires was a big deciding factor! Would definitely use them again and highly recommend!
