However, don't miss the 15 minute walk down the hill to the beach of 'La Figueirette' where water sports equipment is available to hire, or drive the dramatic coastal road towards Saint-Raphaël for splendid viewpoints and pretty coves, some of which can be accessed by foot. For a more lively and bustling scene, head north towards Cannes with its famous seafront promenade 'La Croisette' and numerous designer boutiques and restaurants. Nice, with its old town and international airport, is a 50 minute drive.
