Bajacu, or rising sun in ‘island’ language, was designed by world-famous Mexican architect Marco Aldaco, and his exacting designer’s eye and sublime attention to detail can be seen at every turn. Situated on a south shore hilltop, from the sense of arrival to the feeling of total and utter awe at the breathtaking 270-degree views of the ocean, Bajacu is much more than a villa. The delightful curved main house with winding stone staircases and shaded outdoor living areas is surrounded by lush tropical gardens and boasts the only fully private beach on the Turks & Caicos Islands. Bajacu is an experience, a destination, and invokes an emotive response from everyone who visits. Inside and out, the property flows from one area to the next. Sympathetic use of natural materials, organic curves, smooth stone, rich terracotta, add an air of simplicity and blends harmoniously with the hilltop location. A designer’s eye ensures striking ceramics, soothing soft furnishings, dark woods with Mexican tiling and form effortlessly combine, for an experience that feels Bajacu uniquely. The gently curving infinity pool, clings to the main villa, sides falling away to the secluded grounds and shoreline beneath. This exquisite expanse of white sand, complete with private beach house, is nestled in a secluded cobalt blue bay lapped with warm, Caribbean waters. Bajacu, once experienced, never forgotten.

Bajacu Villa = Private Luxury Resort

Vacation at a luxury private resort! This is not a house/villa, but a resort that you and your group have all to yourself during your stay. We were a group of 12 who have been fortunate to stay at some magnificent properties, but Bajacu is on another level! There are so many places on the property to enjoy. At the private and protected beach, in the beach house, at the amazing infinity pool or hot tub, and so many more. You can all be together and if needed always find a spectacular place for privacy/quiet. The staff is superb, April is an amazing and accommodating Chef, who will prepare your meals. Joey, attended to all our needs and helped make any changes and additions to excursions. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience away from the crowds of resorts this is the trip you need to take.
