The main house has tranquil neutral décor with pops of color, iconic portraits, and various living areas. The ensuite bedrooms have soothing tones, sleek finishes, and marble tiling. The master bedroom features floor-to-ceiling windows, a rain shower, and sea views. Amenities include a roof deck tub, gym, cinema, wine chiller, private terraces, two pools, and a wet bar for outdoor relaxation.

Barbados is a beautiful island on the eastern tip of the Caribbean. Those looking to simply relax by the beach tend to prefer the Caribbean side, which is located in the south and west of the island and offers calm, warm, light-blue water. Those looking to surf or windsurfing, though, will prefer the waves of the Atlantic waters on the east side. Nightlife and dancing lovers, meanwhile, would be wise to stay near all the action on the St Lawrence Gap, which offers a wide variety of local performances such as the famously colourful Tuk band, known to wow audiences with their skills on the bass drum, kettle drum, and penny whistle. You will find a wide array of water sport options as well as the nearby Malibu Beach Club and Visitor Centre where you can tour the adjacent rum distillery. Located between Holders Hill and Sandy Lane, Paynes Bay features ample parking and easy access to the beach. The waters are generally calm, providing excellent swimming and snorkeling conditions. One of the island’s most stunning stretches of white sand beach, Sandy Lane provides excellent swimming and snorkeling conditions. Located south of Holetown, public access is available at Paynes Bay. Guests of the Sandy Lane hotel have access to beach chairs and umbrellas while residents of the nearby Sandy Lane estate have access to private cabana facilities. Located just south of the popular Mullins Beach, Gibbs Beach offers a tranquil setting with plenty of shaded areas and excellent swimming and snorkeling conditions. Water sport amenities are also available. Featuring a picnic area and spacious parking facilities, Mullins Beach is a popular spot with both locals and visitors. There are beach chair and umbrella rentals as well as restaurant and bar service. The calm waters provide excellent snorkeling and swimming conditions and there are many water sport amenities available, including jet skis. Mullins is also an excellent spot to watch the sunset while enjoying a refreshing cocktail at the nearby restaurant and bar.

Incredible Family Vacation

Rental Escapes was great to work with and addressed all our needs and concerns when booking Footprints. The property was very special with spectacular views! Vacationing with a family of 10, it was perfect as there were many intimate spots to gather due to the multiple levels. We found ourselves swimming in the beautiful ocean out front, some would lounge by the pool just off the beach and every day late afternoon we would all congregate on the main living area level hanging in the pool & sitting on the outdoor furniture while some would snooze or read on the interior couches. Staff were great and food was excelkent with beautiful presentation. Some of the staff went above and beyond and when one of us was sick they immediately went to the pharmacy for us. Open air concept is great for the views and lovely during the day as we were in swimsuits all day. In the evening we found it to be hot due to privacy walls on each side of the property which lessened the breezes. Due to this, after dinner most of us retreated to the AC bedrooms unless they went into the pool to cool off. All in all, we had a fabulous time and our most memorable family vacation!
