"Billie's Place" Is A Quiet Getaway

Tequila Sunrise Villa is beautifully modern, has a great pool with high-end "floaties" and is but a short walk from the ocean with beautiful views of neighboring islands. There's enough plant life between the villa and the beach to harbor some local wildlife; I was treated to delightful bird songs (Binoculars provided!). Each of the 3 bedrooms has an en suite bath with outdoor shower. Nice bath products (except for icky mouthwash!). Nice sound system; good WiFi; DISH TV in every room; computer and printer (which I NEEDED for all of the Covid paperwork processing to remain in and to leave the country). The air conditioning works great in the bedrooms. The Great Room and the outside stairs to the 2 upper bedrooms are not air-conditioned; they get a great breeze, but it can still get a bit warm. But you'll be outside around the pool or in the covered patio, so that won't matter! The mascot - a life-size, stuffed billy goat, "Billie" (with whom guests are encouraged to take outrageous pictures!) is a cute touch. Also loved the "always on" dispenser of chilled Patron tequila! The beach was close, but very rocky (the legacy of Hurricane Irma I hear) and the ocean is rough on this side - so I wouldn't call it a swimming beach. The public beach management and seaweed composting in Anguilla are fantastic; huge amounts of seaweed can be seen rolling toward shore each day - but you won't find it piling up on beaches!
