Delightfully cozy, romantic and breezy, Villa Casaroc is a petite haven for couples or small families who are seeking seclusion on St. Barth but who don’t want to give up access to town and all of its conveniences and pleasures. That proximity to St. Barth’s lively center gives Villa Casaroc another of its desired attributes: Its location in the heart of Gustavia near L'Isola means that although the tranquil villa feels like a private sanctuary when you’re within its gates, as soon as you leave that enclave, you step into busy town life, and you have easy access to shopping, restaurants and Shell Beach, without having the bother of driving or parking a rental car. The two-level villa has a modern design, in which the living spaces meld comfortably with one another, and the inside meshes seamlessly with the outside. A wall of glass doors slides open to connect the living room with the terrace and its outdoor dining table, covered daybed, and beguiling views of the yachts coming and going in Gustavia Harbor. Inside, a large breakfast bar separates the living room from the modern, well-equipped, black-and-white kitchen. There is one bedroom on this upper level, with a soothing slate-gray wall behind the bed, and its own bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower. Downstairs, in a separate bungalow, is a slightly smaller second bedroom, in which the king bed is backed by a wooden wall, and which also has its own bathroom. On one side of this downstairs bedroom is the swimming pool, and on the other is the Jacuzzi.
