Casa Los Charcos (loosely translated means House of Ponds) is a uniquely secluded hideaway surrounded by lush, tropical gardens. Charcos is an Eden paradise promising privacy, tranquility, serenity, white sandy beaches, wild natural beauty, and a sophisticated, luxurious lifestyle. It is a place where you can relax ocean side or pool side in a serene haven of your own while only minutes away from the exciting daytime activities and famous night life of Quinta Avenida (Fifth Avenue). Watch golden sunsets from the amazing master bedroom of your Mediterranean-style villa while listening to a background of exotic jungle sounds, or amble barefoot along the beautiful Caribbean and the expansive white-sand beaches. Charcos has an amazing view of the Caribbean and the island of Cozumel from one of the more than 1,000 square feet of terraces. The lot is approximately 8,000 square feet, and because of its shape and intense vegetation, it is virtually impossible to see the house and pool area from the street. Casa Los Charcos is the most private villa in all of Playacar. The house itself is a modern, magical marvel; the perfect tropical retreat, it offers a stunning location for guests to relax and experience the peace and tranquility of the Mexican Riviera. The 625-square-foot pool is heated and reaches seven feet at its deepest. It has a diving board and 6-seat Jacuzzi-style seating area with water massage. The pool also contains a 5.5 horsepower Swim-Jet system that produces a current so that you can “do laps” while swimming in place. The house has central air-conditioning and Direct TV satellite service in all the bedrooms *Please be aware that, due to warming weather and fluctuating ocean currents, the Riviera Maya may experience the presence of naturally occurring seaweed during the hotter months of the year.
