Those looking to simply relax by the beach tend to prefer the Caribbean side, which is located in the south and west of the island and offers calm, warm, light-blue water. Those looking to surf or windsurfing, though, will prefer the waves of the Atlantic waters on the east side. Located just south of the popular Mullins Beach, Gibbs Beach offers a tranquil setting with plenty of shaded areas and excellent swimming and snorkeling conditions. Water sport amenities are also available. Featuring a picnic area and spacious parking facilities, Mullins Beach is a popular spot with both locals and visitors. There are beach chair and umbrella rentals as well as restaurant and bar service. The calm waters provide excellent snorkeling and swimming conditions and there are many water sport amenities available, including jet skis. Mullins is also an excellent spot to watch the sunset while enjoying a refreshing cocktail at the nearby restaurant and bar.

Effortless Paradise!

Nirvana was a beautiful house with the best staff! The outdoor area was the perfect spot to lay out and relax during the day and enjoy our meals. The ocean was steps away. There isn’t much of a “beach” in front of the house but you could walk down either way for more sand. There was a lot of coral close by that that you could see when you snorkel. Our meals and service were top notch! Thank you to Marley and chef David. Our cab driver Mani and his staff Demi went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs. The staff at rental escapes is amazing. Levi was so responsive and helpful with our last minute booking. I would recommend this company to anyone!

Truly Nirvana

Everything was even better than expected. The villa is magnificent, the team (Brenda, Yoki, Shakira) were exceptional, the food terrific. Truly a week in paradise and any needs or asks were delivered, had a fabulous day on a catamaran and a last minute trip into Bridgetown. Highly recommend both Nirvana and Rental Escapes.
