Welcome to Gypsy, a luxurious island getaway! This elegant renovated villa is a true tropical paradise with a private elevated oceanfront pool and sandy beach. Prior to renovation in 2022, Gypsy was very popular with adult couples, as well as families. Gypsy owners spared no expense in upgrading the kitchen, appliances, oceanfront glass doors, and decor; all with stunning oceanfront views in mind. BBQ cooking and enjoying cocktail hour around the pool are quite popular at Gypsy. Gypsy is only a 5-minute drive from the famous Rum Point Beach (restaurants, beach bar, watersports) as well as the Kaibo Marina (restaurants, beach bar, coffee shop, and marina). Cayman Ferries run from the Kaibo to Camana Bay daily, providing access to the 7-Mile Beach area. Gypsy guests have access to a private fitness facility, less than 15 minutes away. Gypsy's backyard oasis offers a private haven above the beach, ensuring your relaxation and privacy. Stairs lead down to a beautiful sandy beach, perfect for sunbathing. The pool deck includes sun beds for your convenience, and large hedges and grassy lawns providing seclusion during your stay. For added comfort, optional pool heat can be provided for a $50 daily surcharge. As you enter the foyer, the tall glass doors beckon your gaze to the private pool area and the stunning Caribbean Sea beyond. Gypsy offers over 4,000 sq ft of living space, with an additional 3,000 sq ft of outdoor paradise, accommodating up to 10 guests across four bedroom suites. Beach Notes The entire island is only 22 miles wide from west to east so you are never too far from anywhere on Grand Cayman. The oceanfront homes in Rum Point offer great reef-protected snorkeling. The beaches tend to have plenty of white sand but also can have spots of rocky “ironshore” formations. The closer you get to Rum Point, usually the sandier the beach as well as the swimming. Either way, with the abundant marine life we have in the water, you will want to wear pool shoes or fins for foot protection. The big draw to this area is the proximity to the Rum Point Club, a public beach with barefoot soft sand, watersports, a beach bar & grill, a gift shop, and pick-up beach volleyball games. Also nearby is the Kaibo Yacht Club restaurant, bar, and marina. General Grand Cayman Beach Notes All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high water mark. The shoreline quality behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is also always available for your use. Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency over the years during the summer. The owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival. We try our best to work around mother nature.
