Baie Longue Beach House
Property Description
This wonderful, West Indian-style home with lovely arches on the seaside is located directly on Baie Longue Beach with over a mile of shimmering white sand. The home was completely renovated in 1996 and in 2003 has had more extensive renovations, including a new portico entryway, extended living area, and an indoor/outdoor bar overlooking the pool area. There are three air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own en-suite baths. All three bedrooms open out to a covered gallery that runs the full length of the villa. Two of the bedrooms also open into the main living areas of the villa. There is a large open-air living/dining room with direct access to the covered gallery. Outdoors, there is ample space for covered dining and enjoying the wonderful ocean view. The music system has speakers in almost every room as well as outside. Marble floors throughout give this Caribbean rattan and antique-furnished home a very comfortable feeling. A large swimming pool between the house and the beach is a wonderful place to relax and spend the day lounging.

The Perfect Covid Retreat ...
Staying at Baie Longue Beach House during these extraordinary times was the best experience for quite some time - beautiful and well maintained property at a perfect location i.e. right on the beach, and with a very friendly and efficient staff. We were picked up at the airport as planned, had the rental car waiting for us at the villa, and the kitchen perfectly prepared with pre-ordered food. During the week we had the beach practically for ourselves, and also enjoyed trips to Marigot and Grand Case. Overall, we felt very safe and surrounded by friendly people. Yes we had to go through a Covid test in order to be able to fly back to the US but that was very manageable as well. Overall, we felt very blessed to be able to get away for a week, and wished we could have stayed longer ...!
