Bright Idea is a wonderfully appointed beachfront villa nestled in manicured gardens and overlooking the tranquil turquoise waters of chalk sound. Sitting on just under two acres, this villa includes a two-story main house and two guest pods connected by a pool deck and a large swimming pool Upstairs in the main house, you will find two king bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, walk-in closets and private deck access. Downstairs is a living room with 72" smart TV, a half bath, a fully equipped kitchen and a breakfast nook. Although designed to take full advantage of the cool sea breeze, there is the option of air conditioning throughout. The main house is flanked on either side by a guest cottage. Each of the two guest cottages has its own private entrance. Inside you will find king bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a kitchenette with a small dining table and a living room with seating. Each Pod also has its own private deck with ocean views. Guests who stay in the pods will also enjoy cable TV both in the living rooms and bedrooms and optional air conditioning. In addition to the private on-property beach, guests will also have access to Taylor Bay Beach and the private tennis courts on Sunset Bay Drive.

Definitely A "Bright Idea"!

We have booked many vacations over the years with many great experiences but this is by far the best yet! From the moment I first contacted Rental Escapes to the time we left our villa in Turks and Caicos, we received remarkable care and service. In my initial conversations with Deane, I shared my ideas of what we wanted in a beach villa, including budget and amenities. He narrowed down the search, as there are hundreds of choices, and helped us find Bright Idea. The villa was perfect! The payment process was simple and easy to secure the villa. The planning was seamless. Judit worked with us to help us locate restaurants and made reservations for us. She also provided a list of activities and was able to book those as well. She also arranged private transfers for our group who arrived at different times and arranged for a rental car to be dropped off and picked up at the villa. During our stay, she was just a phone call away and helped with any questions while we were there. Upon our return, some of the group had delayed flights and Deane was on 'go' to help locate overnight accommodations in the event someone had to stay on the island. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless. We will definitely use Rental Escapes in the future!

High Tides And Good Vibes

We had a wonderful time and the layout of the house and two casitas was perfect for our family. I think the interior could use an update and there were a couple of items that needed repair.

Bright Idea Is A Bright Idea

The location is perfect if you want quiet, relaxation, and room for multiple families and friends. Own pool with a private beach. Crystal clear water. House is well furnished. Can use a little work, sliding glass doors can be difficult to open, but otherwise is a perfect getaway. You will need a car to get anywhere, which was fine with us. We enjoyed the tranquility along Chalk Sound.

Telling It Like It Is

Overall the experience was wonderful. The staff from start to finish was very attentive and helpful. Every request fulfilled. The home was lovely and the view exceptional. The window mechanisms for opening and closing were in need of repair. It was very difficult to close them. The wifi did not work in the cottage. Driving to the villa, you must travel through an industrial section of the island. It was a little worrisome at first, but the villa is in a great area. You do need a car to go anywhere so it's an added expense but not bad. The staff, beginning with the booking agent Deanna, to the concierge staff Tim and Jackie were awesome to work with. Handled everything I asked for and Tim even checked in mid week. Nice touch. :) On site staff as well. Mrytho (sp) was kind and efficient and answered all our questions. Housekeeper did a great job as well.

Everything We Hoped It Would Be

Bright Idea villa was everything we had hoped it would be, we truly enjoyed our time there. The two guest cottages were wonderful to have since we have grown children with significant others joining us on vacations. The cottages allowed them privacy and plenty of room to enjoy themselves. The villa's location is a 15-20 minute drive from most restaurants and activities but we actually enjoyed the low key area and didn't find it that big of an inconvenience to drive to different places on the island. Turks and Caicos is one of my favorite places!
