Sunshine In Sicily

We had a fabulous two-week stay at La Plage villa in Fontaine Bianche Sicily. The home was so beautiful and right on the beach, but with a great deal of privacy with the landscaping and gate. We traveled at the end of the season, so the beach was not very crowded, which was nice. The kitchen was very well-equipped and we enjoyed several home-cooked meals. The beds are very firm, which I appreciated, but one of our guests struggled with the comfort of the bed. The only drawbacks were a fairly weak wi-fi system and a small TV for such a large room. Also, there is only a washing machine but no dryer. We were lucky with the weather so we were able to air dry our clothes. Our Rental Escapes concierge, Anastasiia, was so helpful and a pleasure to work with. She booked us an in-home chef's dinner which was fabulous as well as a wonderful catamaran cruise with a wonderful lunch and an entertaining captain.
