Centuries ago, Casa del Arbol was the home of the architect who carried out important civil and restoration works in the Colonial City. Some original gray and white tiles still remain in the house, reminding us of its former glory and connection to the first Cathedral in the New World. The house has four Luxury Rooms, each with a private bathroom, which are arranged around the tranquil central patio, and complemented by the lobby, library and outdoor social areas. Its bathrooms stand out for their soaring ceilings, artwork and vintage-style bathtubs. The heart of the house is its courtyard, a tranquil sanctuary where the melodies of tropical birds accompany the visitor under the shade of a majestic mango tree. The interior reflects the rich Dominican culture with local art and furniture ranging from modern to tropical.
