Ultimate Relaxation
Tamarind Villa is a gorgeous and versatile property that was well-suited for a large group (10 people). Not all of our 10 were couples, and Tamarind has a unique bedroom count that allowed for those singles who wanted their own room to do so. All beds are King sized and each bedroom had an en suite bath. The salt water pool can be heated upon request and the ocean is just steps away. There were three sun decks with ample seating and tables, along with a gazebo and outdoor dining as well as ample and comfortable seating indoors. The rooms had individually-controlled AC units, but honestly, after the first couple nights we turned off the AC and just opened our balconies to the ocean breezes. Electricity is metered and you're charged if you go over the $200 allowance for the week, so it's good to be energy conscious. I didn't find bugs to be a problem, but a few in our party got a bit "eaten up" by no-see-ums. The large kitchen seemed suitable for our catering chef to work. There was ample counter space to set up a bar; also two full-sized refrigerators, a wine fridge and refrigerated drawers. The only downside was the very loud construction at the villa next door that was being renovated.

A Fabulous 50
The villa was beautiful and perfectly located for snorkeling, restaurants and any activity we wanted to do. I have never stayed in a better equipped property They left us so many extras..condiments, sun tan lotion, shampoo, extra trash bags, detergent etc, etc. The concierge was wonderful and very helpful!!! The trip was fantastic!!!
